Do you have a Brick-And-Mortar Retail Store?2020-03-16T20:41:12+00:00

We did have a store in Centennial, Colorado, however, we’ve since decided to focus on website sales and marketing.

Can I call and ask about various tactical gear?2020-03-16T20:39:44+00:00

We prefer an email at sales@lifeandlibertygear.com. Then if needed, we can call you.

Do you ACTUALLY have body armor IN-STOCK right now?2020-03-16T20:38:33+00:00

Not right now. We are building up a reserve, but body armor is usually freshly made by the manufacturer. Body armor has usually a 5 year or 10 year warranty from the date it is manufactured. The armor you will be getting has a fresher date than if we stocked them here.

Depending on the manufacturer, they could have stock ready to ship. But they might also be on a back order of weeks. When there is a deployment, we have seen back orders take months. We typically put IN STOCK but then add a note on the description page that it might take some time. We really do not know at any given time how fast they can get the plates out.

If you have a time consideration, please email us at sales@lifeandlibertygear.com and we will check and see how fast we can get the plates you want/need.

Will you ship body armor internationally?2020-03-16T20:32:09+00:00

It depends on the item. For all non-ballistic items, ie Bump Helmets, trauma pads, we can ship internationally. For any ballistic rifle rated body armor, Level III, Level III+, and Level IV, we can not ship internationally. For soft handgun rated body armor, Level IIIA, we can only ship to Canada. If you are in Canada and need to order, please contact us at sales@lifeandlibertygear.com.

If you are traveling outside the USA, you can do the legal paperwork and then you will be required to bring it back. You can check all the rules online.

You also can not buy and then export out of the USA. That is also against ITAR. It is a Federal crime.

We have to follow the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Level III and IV rifle rated body armor (Rifle Plates) fall under jurisdiction of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and are subject to the export control laws of the US Government. Export or re-transfer of Rifle Plates by any means to any foreign end user or for any other end use, whether in the US or abroad without written approval of the US Department of Commerce or Department of State is prohibited.

Will you ship other items internationally?2020-03-16T20:20:52+00:00

It just depends on the item. All non-ballistic items can be shipped internationally.

However, we have to follow ITAR laws concerning shipping ballistic, body armor, items. For all Level III and Level IV items, we can only ship to the USA. For Level IIIA, soft handgun armor, we can only ship internationally to Canada. If you are in Canada and want to order, please contact sales@lifeandlibertygear.com.

This picture of a MultiCam item on your pages looks strange…is it real MultiCam?2020-03-16T20:15:05+00:00

Yes. We only stock and sell items made with Made in the USA, licensed Genuine Crye Precision MultiCam® Camo fabric. MultiCam is CAMO! You can look at MultiCam in a hundred different lighting situations and it will look different. That is why it works so well!

What size is this plate carrier?2020-03-16T20:05:43+00:00

Most plate carriers are “One Size Fits Most” with adjustable shoulder straps and belts or cummerbunds. There are some carriers that are in different sizes. All the information you need should be on the description page. If there are no size options, then it is a one sized carrier. If something is unclear, please email sales@lifeandlibertygear.com.

How do I know what plate will fit into my carrier?2020-03-16T20:00:57+00:00

Please see the fit notes on our carriers and plates. Also, read your carrier’s manufacturer detail page. It should tell you which plates will fit into your carrier. Please email sales@lifeandlibertygear.com if you are not sure.

If a steel plate has a build up coating on it, it will be longer and wider and thicker because of the coating. Sometimes this makes a tight fit into certain carriers. Also remember that a standard composite plate, Level III or Level IV, will be thicker than a light weight plate.

If you have a conceal carrier vest, it might have a plate pocket. The only plates you should put in there are thin plates and not steel plates. Steel plates are too heavy and will put too much stress on the fabric.

Will the different brands colors match my colors if I have another brand of gear?2020-03-16T19:54:09+00:00

The different tactical gear manufacturers are trying to stay within the popular color shades. There are some remnants of Coyote TAN out there and the current rendition is Coyote BROWN. But they still may not all match perfectly. We have seen a wide range of Ranger Green. MultiCam Camo, if real Crye Precision fabric, will all be the same. Color Shade might look different on the screen than in real life.
